3. Click the connection you want to assign a multi-link
connection to and press the RIGHT mouse button.
4. Select ‘Properties’. A window similar to that in figure 8 will
pop up.
5. Set the ‘Modem Type’ to ‘Trust Miniport 1B channel’ if not
set already.
6. Make sure the phone number is correct.
7. Click ‘Settings’.
8. Click ‘Use additional devices’.
9. Click ‘Add’ to assign an extra line to the connection.
10. Select ‘Trust Miniport 2B channel’ from the list. This will be
your second line.
11. Check the phone number and make sure it matches the
one in step (6). The resulting window should look like
Figure 9.
12. Click the ‘OK’ button’ to return to the connection settings.
13. Click ‘OK’ to finish.
14. Close the ‘My Computer’ window.
Now you can use the full 128 kbps in your connection.
