Using for the first time
Note:
This chapter uses a Bluetooth mobile telephone as an example of a
Bluetooth device. This chapter explains how to create a connection and
hold a telephone conversation using the Bluetooth headset.
5.1
Charging the battery
Charge the headset’s battery using the power adapter before use (see step 1 of the
Quick Installation Guide). The status LED will be lit red continuously. The status LED
will go out once the headset has been charged.
Note:
It takes 2-3 hours to charge the battery.
Note:
Whilst charging the battery, it is not possible to create a Bluetooth
connection between the headset and your mobile telephone.
5.2 Use
5.2.1
Registering the headset on the mobile telephone
Note:
During registration, the distance between the headset and your mobile
telephone must not be greater than 1 metre.
If you wish to use the headset, a connection must first be created with your mobile
telephone (see steps 2 and 3 of the Quick Installation Guide).
