Making a wireless connection
1.
Make sure the computer is turned on.
2.
Make sure the devices are no more 1 meter apart and there are no objects
(or metal surfaces) between them, since this will reduce the quality of the
connection.
3.
Make sure the batteries have been inserted into the mouse and they have
been sufficiently charged.
4.
Press the purple button (E, figure 2) on the front of the receiver. The green
LED will start to flash.
5.
Press the round ID button on the bottom of the mouse (A, figure 3). The
green LED will start to flash more quickly and then stop flashing. The LED will
remain constantly lit. A connection has now been made between the mouse
and the receiver. The mouse will now work as a standard mouse. When the
receiver receives data (from the mouse), the LED will flash quickly.
6.
When there is interference or another device is using the same channel,
switch to another channel by moving the switch inside the mouse (B, figure
3).
The receiver has a green indicator to display the connection status. This indicator is
located in the receiver’s purple button.
