Manual mode:
• Set the torch selector (
2
) in 2 steps.
• During normal operation, the torch will feed the micro
wire only at pressing trigger (
K
).
• To stop the micro wire feed, release the trigger.
Automatic mode:
• Set the torch selector in 4 steps.
• During normal operation, the torch will feed the micro
wire when pressing the trigger (
K
).
• Once the electric arc is on you may release the trigger.
The micro wire will keep on feeding automatically.
NOTE: The electric arc shall not be interrupted otherwise
the micro wire automatic feed will also stop.
• To stop the micro wire feed, press and release the
trigger.

SMAW
• Set the soldering process selector (
1
) into the SMAW mode
(coated electrode ).
• Set an electrode adequate for the job on the electrode
holder clamp.
• When the electrode has been consumed from 0,5” to 1”
from the electrode holder, replace it with a new one to keep
on welding.
• The electrode burns in high temperatures.
Do not try to manipulate the electrode remains with your
hand. Save the remains in a metal container.
• Open the electrode holder pincer to hold the new
electrode. Hold by the uncovered end. Do not hold the
electrode by the covered part.
CAUTION
J
• The welder is built with an inductance adjustment (
I
).
• Increase the inductance value through the adjusting
knob.
• A high inductance value causes that the weld bead
applied will have less penetration and will make a thinner
bead.
Inductance Adjustment
• The welder is built with and adjustment feature (
J
) to
regulate the time the micro wire stops after cutting the
micro wire feed through the torch.
• If the value is adjusted to the minimum, the micro wire
feed will instantly stop.
• If the value is adjusted to the maximum, the micro wire
feed will stop after 2 seconds the micro wire feed is cut.
• This function is useful to prevent malformations in the
micro wire tip and to improve the bead aesthetics.

• The welder is built with a thermal protection to guard
against overload. When an overload strikes, the welder will
automatically turn off and the overload light (
L
) will light
up. Allow the unit to cool down. The thermal protector will
restart the unit when the temperature is back to safe limits.
