Installing with the AMP-440

The UltraScape system MUST be wired as seen above when using an AMP-440 as the
amplifier. You cannot put more than two satellite speakers on each side; doing so can damage
your system. Additional direct burial speaker wire can be used to run from the amplifier to the
subwoofer, and subwoofer to the satellite speakers as desired. Space speakers no more than
10 feet apart.
Wiring Instructions
1. Connect Bluetooth adapter to AMP-440 with the included 3.5 mm to RCA cable.
2. Set primary switch to “1A”
3. Set the Zone 1 and Zone 2 switches down to “BDG”
4. Set the Local/Global switch up to “Local”
5. Set the Auto/Trigger/On switch to “On”
6. Terminate “Yellow L+”, “Blue L-”, “Red R+” and “Black L-” wires into the AMP-440 as seen
above.
7. Terminate right and left satellite speakers as pictured above.
8. With the Bluetooth adapter, use the volume “+” button on the front of the AMP-440 to max
out the volume. The green light should stop blinking when volume is maxed out. Once
maxed out, press the volume “-” button twice.
NOTE: If using Sonos or other source devices, use the volume “+” button on the front
of the AMP-440 to max out the volume. The green light should stop blinking when
volume is maxed out. Once maxed out, press the volume “-” button eight times.
10. Test. Enjoy!
