  Important Information

  For your own protection, the following information must be observed when using electri-

cal equipment (Read all the instructions before using the equipment):

•  Only connect the device to A/C.
•  Only connect the equipment to an alternating voltage. Note the rated voltage. 
•  Never touch electrical equipment that has fallen into water. If that is the case, disconnect 

the device from the mains immediately. 

•  Never use electrical equipment in the bath or shower. 
•  Always position or store electrical equipment where it cannot fall into water (e.g. wash 

basin). Prevent electrical equipment from getting into contact with water and other 
liquids. 

•  Only use the equipment in dry rooms. 
•  Always disconnect from the mains immediately after use. 
•  Disconnect from the mains before cleaning the equipment. 
•  Never leave the equipment unsupervised if children or disabled persons are nearby. 
•  Only use the equipment for the proper use as described in the operating instructions. 
•  Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. 
•  Never use the equipment if the mains cable is damaged. Furthermore, do not use the 

equipment if it is not working correctly, if it is damaged or if it has fallen into water. In 
these cases, send the equipment to our Service centre for inspection and repair.  

•  Do not hold the equipment by the mains cable when carrying it do not use then cable as 

a handle. 

•  Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.  
•  Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or kinked when stored. 
•  Never insert or allow any objects to fall into the openings of the equipment. 
•  Never use the equipment where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen 

is released.  

•  To protect against injuries, never use the equipment if the cutting set is damaged. 
•  The equipment is safety-insulated and radio-screened.
