7. From the

Gige Testing

screen, select

the

BER

icon. The

Gige Settings

window will appear as shown in the

image to the right. When testing

through network devices such as

routers and switches on a network

with DHCP addressing, you can

simply select

IPv4 DHCP

from the

Mode

field to automatically request

an IP address from the network.

8. Once you select the

IP Mode

, select

the

Login

button to connect to the

network. The network connection

status will be displayed as shown in

the image to the right.

When the field device has

successfully joined the network, the

BERT

screen will be displayed as

shown in the image to the right.
