Adjusting the Diopter
Trijicon HD
™
Binoculars feature a manually adjustable diopter setting, allowing users to compensate
for focusing imbalances between each eye. This type of adjustment allows users to experience one
crisp, clear image and virtually eliminates eyestrain.
1. Cover the right
Objective Lens
(A) and use the
Center Focus Wheel
(B) to obtain sharp focus using
only the left optical system of the binocular. Focus on an object that is approximately 60 feet away
(

).
2. Cover the left
Objective Lens
(A) and fine tune the focus of the binocular’s right optical system by
using the
Diopter Adjustment Ring
(B), while looking at the same object (
Figure 8
).
Important:
Do not move the center focus wheel during this step.
