4. Operation Controls and Functions
4.1 Transmitter (Tx) Unit
HDMI INPUT:
Connect to the HDMI output of your source equipments such as
a DVD player or Set-top-box with an HDMI cable.
POWER INDICATOR LIGHT:
illuminates when unit is plugged into 5VDC
power supply
DC 5V:
Connect the 5V DC power supply to the HX1RG6. Then connect the
adaptor to an AC wall outlet
IR EMITTER:
Connect IR emitter cable (included) to this input. Place the eye of
the emitter in front of the source equipment.
OUTPUT:
Connect the output of the Transmitter to the INPUT of the Receiver
using a 75 ohm RG6/U cable that has been terminated with 75 ohm BNC male
connectors.
Note:
Do not use BNC connectors that require screws or clamps to secure the
connector to the cable. For best results only use BNC plugs that are secured using
a Linear Compression Crimping Tool.
