Module replacement Instructions
1. Turn the power to the unit OFF by disconnect-
ing the main power source.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD. The
ON/OFF switch of the boiler does not discon-
nect electrical power to the module.
Disconnect electrical power to the boiler
using the main service switch.
2. Remove the front jacket panel by loosening the
retaining screws on each side of the display.
3. Dismount the front jacket panel by pulling the
bottom of the front panel out and the entire front
jacket panel down.
4. Pull the Control Display Module tray out from
the bottom jacket panel and swing the tray
downward. The guide pins on the tray should
disengage the bottom panel (Fig.2).
Before proceeding to the following steps
mark and label all connections and location
of the connections prior to disconnecting any
wire connections.
5. Disconnect all molex plugs from the module.
The two white molex plugs and one grey molex
plug have locking levers that need to be disen-
gaged prior to disconnection.
6. Disconnect the (4) ground wires from the mod-
ule. Use care not to damage the wire terminals.
7. To remove the module from the tray, disengage
the rear retaining tabs of the module from the
tray sides by carefully pulling the tray sides
slightly outward.
8. Once the retaining tabs are disengaged slide the
module back and upward away from the face
plate of the tray.
Do not discard the module if a warranty
claim is being submitted. Contact Triangle
Tube Customer Service for information
regarding the warranty period of the module
and if a RGA number is needed to return the
damaged module. If the control was shipped
with a RETURN SHIPPING LABEL, send
module directly back to Triangle Tube.
