GENERAL INFORMATION
WARNING : This appliance includes a heating function. Surfaces, other than the functional
surfaces may develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are perceived differently by
different people, this device should be used with CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to
grip surfaces intended to hold and use such heat protection measures as heat protection Gloves or
pot holders.
To avoid risk of burns, when the unit is working, only touch the knob and the handle since
other parts may become very hot.
- When you first use the unit, the grill plate may emit some smoke. Do not worry because after
few uses the smoke will disappear.
- Handle with care freshly-cooked food.
- CAUTION: after turning off the product, plate remains hot for several minutes and should
never be touched.
- Use the product only for the purpose for which it was designed; any other use may be
dangerous.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running.
- Suitable only for indoor use.
- Once finished using the appliance, unplug it and wait for the complete cooling of each part
before storing or cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Do not leave it under the stream of tap
water. In any case avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces.
- Only use a soft sponge to clean the plate.
- Do not subject the unit to strong impacts, serious damage may result.
- Use only original and compatible accessories.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Keep the unit away from flammable materials, heat, cold spots and steam, curtains or paper.
- Do not place the product close to gas or electric burner, do not store the device inside the
electric/microwave oven.
- Use extreme caution when moving the unit, be careful with any splashes of hot oil or other
liquids.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- The rear surface of appliances shall be placed against a wall.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas
in shops, offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments; farm houses, bed and breakfast type environments.
