Viewing and Managing SMS Messages
"Inbox" screen
The Inbox contains your received/saved messages. In the list, each message is displayed with an icon and some text. The
following icons are used:
Unread/New
message
Read
message
If the senders phone number exists in your phone book, then the relevant name is displayed, otherwise the phone number is
displayed.
This screen contains the following:
SMS Entry 1
SMS Entry 2
Your received messages.
SMS Entry N
Pressing
gives access to the following options:
[View]
Open the selected message for viewing. Please refer to the "View SMS" screen below.
[Reply]
Reply to the sender of the highlighted message. The content of this message is pasted
into the new message and opened in the message editor to allow you to add your own text.
Please see the "Write SMS" section above.
[Forward]
Forward the highlighted message to another recipient. The content of this message is
pasted into the new message and opened in the message editor to allow you to add your
own text. Please see the "Write SMS" section above.
[Delete]
Delete the highlighted message.
WARNING: NO FURTHER WARNING OR CONFIRMATION IS OFFERED BEFORE THE
DELETION.
[Delete all]
Delete all messages from the Inbox.

[Read]/[Unread]
Mark the highlighted message as “Read”/"Unread" as applicable.
[To phonebook]
Add the senders phone number to your address book. You will be prompted for the
sender's name. Please refer to the "Add entry to phonebook" screen below.
[Call]
Place a voice call to the sender of the message. Please refer to the "Outgoing Call"
section above.
[Details]
Display detailed information for the highlighted message. Please see the "SMS Detail"
screen below.
[Backup Sms]
Backup Sms messages.
Pressing
closes the Options menu, and pressing
closes this screen and returns to the parent screen.
"View SMS" screen
From here you can view your SMS message.
