Mounting the lamp:
The lamp is mounted to the structure by means of two
bolts M8 (maximum), spaced at 31.5 mm. The lamp may
be adjusted sideways up to 80 degrees, allowing it to cover
a large area. Tighten the bolts when the desired position is
found. The vertical position is set by tightening the centre
bolt when the correct position is found.
Opening the lamp:
The lamp housing is opened by loosening the three
wingnuts about 5-10mm. Please make sure to support the
lamp insert when opening the lamp.
Cable entry:
The cable gland nut is opened fully or partly, and the cable
is pushed is pushed through the cable gland. Tighten the
gland nut to secure the cable and obtain a watertight entry.
It is recommended to have a wire length inside the housing
of approx. 100mm, as too long wires may reduce the
space required for the lamp insert. Ensure that the cable
is attached to the structure in a way that prevents water to
follow the cable into the lamp housing.
Electrical connections:
The electrical termination (12/24 VAC/VDC) is done
directly to the lamp insert. Ensure that the connections
are proper, but do not overtighten the screws as this may
damage the lamp insert.
Closing the lamp:
Ensure that the black o-ring in the lamp housing is in the
groove, then set the lamp insert into the recess. Move
the three fi xing brackets over the lamp insert and tighten
the three wingnuts. Do not overtighten the screws.
