INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
The wire safety stand is located at the bottom of the main unit.
2.
Please remove the wire stand and slide into the right or left side of
the main unit depending on the user’s preference.
3.
Select any wire tip style and insert wire tip into the pen terminals.
4.
Use Philips screwdriver to tighten the screws on the terminals
5.
Rest the pen on the safety stand.
6.
Plug in the main unit and turn the temperature control dial so the heat
indicator light turns on.
7.
Let the pen preheat for 15-30 seconds to reach working temperature.
8.
It is recommended to always start at a lower temperature first and
build up heat slowly as needed.
9.
Practice on a sample piece of wood.
10.
When changing the tip, please turn the temperature dial to off
position.
11.
Unscrew the terminal screws using Philips screwdriver.
12.
Use pliers to remove the wire tip to avoid burn, and insert another
wire tip.
13.
Use Philips screwdriver to tighten the screws on the terminals
14.
Always turn off and unplug the main unit after use.
