6.3.3.13 Alarm channel control (V3.1)

communication-specific alarms are sent via the alarm channel.

measuring system-specific alarm channel is transmitted as a
channel-related diagnosis . This means that the data volume
to be transferred can be limited in clock synchronous mode. In
addition to the communication-specific alarms, encoder
profile-specific errors are also transmitted, e.g. a memory
error ( 0x9116 ) or a position error ( 0x9100 ).
