The TQMa7x UART7 interface is routed to an RS-485 transceiver (SP491), which provides the signals at the 9-pin D-Sub connector
X12. The RS-485 interface is galvanically isolated with 1 kV.
The interface is configured for full duplex operation by default, but can be switched to half duplex by an assembly option.
In this case, the receiver is controlled by UART7.CTS#. The assembly option is described in the current circuit diagram.
