The TQMa335x UART0 interface is routed to an RS-485 transceiver (SP491), which provides the signals at the 9-pin D-Sub
connector X16. The RS-485 interface is galvanically separated.

In full-duplex mode the interface can operate with a maximum data rate of 1 Mbit/s. With an assembly option half-duplex is also
possible.
