Stop the vehicle in a safe place.

Apply the parking brake firmly and shift the shift position to P. (

P. 181)

Slide the second seats as far back as possible. (

P. 138)

Flattening the seatbacks

Move  the  front  seat  forward
and 

remove 

the 

head

restraint. (

P. 146)

Tilt  the  front  seatback  to  the
same height as the rear seat
cushion.

To return the seats, reverse the procedure. 

After returning the seats to their original position, make sure to replace
the head restraint.
