6.4 Installing air balance for IP65 version (optional)
The drive is delivered by the manufacturer optionally as IP65 version. The
air balance must be laid by the customer.
The air balance can be installed on the drive at the side or on top.
Material required:
Ÿ
Connection, hose and muffler
Ÿ
Screw locking, medium strength (e.g. LOCTITE 243)
NOTE
Penetrating moisture on the air balance!
Short-circuit and damage to the drive!
è Lay hose end with muffler in a dust-free and dry area (IP40), e.g. in the
switch cabinet (recommended).
è Avoid condensation absorption. For this purpose, lay hose end with
muffler lower than connection on the drive.
1. Dismantle and change screw plug and angular screw fitting if neces-
sary.
2. NOTE! Short-circuit and damage to the drive due to penetrating mois-
ture! Use screw locking!
Install screw plug and angular screw fitting.
3. Remove cap on angular screw fitting.
4. Install hose on angular screw fitting.
5. Lay hose end with muffler in a dust-free and dry area (IP40). Make sure
that the hose end is lower than the connection on the drive.
