6 - Troubleshooting
Problem

Solution
The blender is not
working
The blender is not plugged
into the mains.
Plug the blender into an active mains socket,
ensuring the socket switch is turned to the ON
position.
The blades are not
attached correctly.
Ensure the blades are correctly attached to the
motor unit. Refer to the ‘Assembling the Unit’
section of this manual for instructions on how
to attach the blades to the unit.
The food is not blending
properly.
The food is not chopped
into small enough pieces.
Chop the food into smaller pieces before
inserting it into the unit. The recommended
size for pieces to be blended is 15mm x 15mm.
Liquid is spilling while
blending.
Too much food was used.
Observe the maximum amounts of food for
each blending cup.
The motor is too hot or
making a strange noise.
The unit was used
continuously for too long.
Do not use the unit continuously for more than
60 seconds. Allow 60 seconds’ rest time for
every 60 seconds of blending.
The blender is smoking
or has stopped working.
The blender has
malfunctioned.
Stop using the unit immediately and contact
our Customer Support team. DO NOT attempt
to use the unit.
CAUTION!
Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other
liquid.
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse the parts immediately after use.
3. Always grip the blade assembly unit when handling the blades.
CAUTION!
Use extreme care when handling the blades. Do not touch the
blades with your fingers. The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if
touched.
4. If necessary, use a small nylon bristle brush to remove food residue from the
blades and the blade unit.
5. For quick clean-ups, fill one of the included cups one-quarter full with clean,
warm water and pulse several times, using first the blending blade and then
the grinding blade. Rinse thoroughly after pulsing.
6. Wash all lids and cups in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION!
Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleaners on any plastic
or metal parts, as the surface may be damaged.
7. The cups and lids can all be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher.
