1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Prior to initial use, clean your kettle by going through several boiling cycles,
using clean water with each cycle and filling the kettle to its upper marking.
The water will reach boiling point after approximately 5 minutes. The kettle will
switch off automatically.
3. Discard the boiled water and wait for the kettle to cool. Then rinse the kettle
with cold water.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner
1. Place the cordless base on a firm and level surface.
2. Pour the desired amount of clean water into the kettle. Do not touch any part
of the kettle except the handle. When the appliance is in use, ensure that the
cover is properly closed. The amount of water inside can be measured by the
level mark on the outside of the kettle. Always pay attention to the minimum &
maximum levels, and ensure that the cover is properly and firmly closed.
3. Position the kettle in such a way on the sub base that the underside of the
kettle fits precisely into the contact on the base.
4. Insert the plug into a wall socket.
5. Move the ON/OFF switch to the ‘I’ position to start the heating process. After
this the indicator lamp will light up.
6. When the water reaches the boiling point, the ON/OFF switch will return
automatically to the “O” position and the indicator lamp will go out.
7. The kettle can also be switched off manually by putting the ON/OFF switch to
the “O” position.
8. The hot water in the kettle can now be poured safely through the spout into
another container.
9. This kettle is equipped with a safety cut-out to protect the appliance from
damage in case of inappropriate use, should the appliance be accidentally
operated without water or if all the water has evaporated the safety cut out will
automatically switch off the heating element.
10. In such a case remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and refill the
kettle only after an adequate cooling down period, around 15-20 seconds.
Note: The ON/OFF switch will also automatically return to the off position when it
is finished boiling.
Note: You can stop the boil process at any time by pushing the ON/OFF switch to
the off position.
WARNING! NEVER REMOVE THE LID DURING BOILING
Tips: Improve the quality of your drinks by always using fresh water.
Empty the kettle after each use.
Be economical and do not boil more water than you need.
