Is there a high-voltage line within 100m near the instrument?
The radiation of the high-voltage line will shorten the
wireless transmission distance.
Particles (water, dust) in the air will significantly affect the
2.4G R/C distance, such as rainy, foggy, or high humidity
weather.
If the above situation is excluded, please keep the boat and
the display at a 5 meters distance, then power on the display,
enter into the “system” menu and check the [System info.] .
Please take a picture of System info and send it to us.
1) The position accuracy of GPS depends on the satellites
signal. If the weather is cloudy or raining, the satellites signal
may become poor.
2) If the boat does not move, the position coordinate may
be drifting. The error may reach 15 meters or even more.
But when the boat speed is over 0.5m/s, the position accuracy
should be good.
3) The radio signal for the satellites is very week, so please
keep the GPS antenna far away from the antenna of boat
and fish-finder.
4) In some country or region, for national safety reason,
the government may interface the GPS satellites, and the
coordinate offset may vary at different time.
1) The compass must be installed away from magnetic
materials: magnet, iron, nickel, etc., 30 cm or more is best.
2) If there is a weak magnetic field interference near the
compass, you can eliminate the error through the
[compass calibration]
and use the
[compass test]
menu to
check whether the correct calibration is properly done (to
do this, please open the
[Advanced Settings]
in the “
Basic
Operation
” menu).
Note:
there are 2 independent compasses in this product,
both of which need to be calibrated.
Why the radio range
could not reach 300m?
Why the accuracy of
position is not good?
Why the heading of the
compass is not correct or
boat running at zig-zag at
autopilot mode?
