PREPARATION/STATUS DISPLAY OF DISC

NOTE:
If the unit does not operate properly:
Static electricity can adversely affect the
operation of this player. Sometimes this
can be remedied by unplugging the unit
for a short time, then reconnecting it.

DVD

Audio CD/Video CD

To make status display disappear, press CALL again.

Status display of disc

Press CALL. The status display of the disc will appear on the
screen.

• When you play the CD disc, the status display will appear

on the screen and continue displaying.

• When you play the Video CD, Play list will not appear on the

screen.

Preparation

Before DVD/CD operation, please make preparations as follows.

Insert the AC cord plug into a standard 230V~240V 50Hz AC
outlet.
• If the AC cord plug is plugged in for the first time, wait for

about 5 seconds before pressing ON/STANDBY.

NOTE: When connecting to other equipment, unplug the unit
from the AC outlet.

Press ON/STANDBY on the remote control to turn on the unit.
• Every time you press ON/STANDBY, the unit starts from

TV mode.

• When using an amplifier, switch on the amplifier.

Press  TV/DVD to select DVD
mode.
The DVD startup screen will ap-
pear on the screen.
