Basic Operations

Call Waiting Service

When you receive a call during a call, you can place the current call on hold and answer 
the incoming call. If the incoming call is from a caller whose phone number is in the 
Contacts list (page 47), the caller

’

s name and phone number are displayed.

Starting the Call Waiting Service

1.

In standby mode, press 

. The main menu appears.

2.

 Settings   Call Settings   Call Waiting

3.

Select 

Activate

 and press   (Request).

After a network connection is established, the settings complete screen appears.

Using the Call Waiting Service

1.

The call waiting tone is heard during a call.

2.

Press  

(Options).

3.

Select 

Answer

 and press   (Select).

The original caller is placed on hold and a connection is established with the second 
caller. Both names appear on the display.

4.

Press 

 to switch between callers.

Tip

To confirm the status of the setting, 
select
