4.14 RTC battery

Removing the RTC battery

To remove the RTC battery, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-21.

Disconnect the

RTC battery cable

from the connector

CN9990

on the system board.

Turn up the battery holder and remove the

RTC battery

from the holder.

Installing the RTC battery

To install the RTC battery, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-21.

Connect the

RTC battery cable

to the connector

CN9990

on the system board.

Seat the

RTC battery

in place while matching the RTC battery cable to the guide.

Wrap the

RTC battery

by the battery holder.
