4 Replacement Procedures

Installing the Modem Daughter Card 

To install the modem daughter card, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-9 and 4-10. 

NOTE:

  To install the modem cable to the system board, refer to 4.22 System Board/RTC 

Battery/DC-IN Jack. 

1.

 

Connect the modem cable to JP1 on the modem daughter card. 

2.

 

Seat the modem daughter card and press carefully on the card to connect it to PJ2017 on 
the sound board. Be careful not to damage the card or connector. 

3.

 

Secure the modem daughter card with the following screws. 

•

Place the modem daughter card cover and secure it with the following screw.
