Focus and zoom rings 

The focus ring (505-0874-xx) fits around the front of the projection lens. The zoom ring (505-0921-xx) fits 

behind the focus ring. The lens cap (505-0713-xx) snaps onto the focus ring. 

The focus ring snaps onto the front of the lens, while the zoom ring secures to the lens barrel with three 

M2x3 Phillips screws with star washers.

Pull the focus ring away from the front of the projection lens.

To access the zoom ring, remove the optical engine (see page 45) 

3 

Turn the optical engine upside down on a soft surface. 

CAUTION  

The optical engine in the TDP-P4 has an exposed glass color wheel. Take extreme care 

when handling the engine.

 

4 

Remove the M2x3 screw from the zoom ring.
