Table 2: LED behavior and meaning

LED color/behavior

Meaning

solid green

The projector is plugged in, or the projec-
tor has been turned on and the software 
has initialized. The projector has been 
turned off and the fans have stopped.

blinking green

The 

Power

 button has been pressed and 

the software is initializing, or the projec-
tor is powering down and the fans are 
running to cool the lamp.

blinking red
The projector will not start up if the LED 
is blinking red. You must correct the prob-
lem, disconnect and reconnect the power 
cable, then power on the projector. 

See page 34 for more information on 
blinking red LEDs.

A fan (blinks 4 times) or lamp (blinks 3 
times) failure has occurred. Turn off the 
projector and wait one minute, then turn 
the projector on again. Also check for a 
blocked vent or a stopped fan (blinks 5 
times).
