To Adjust the Contrast of the
LCD Display:
1. From any call state, press the
Contrast Control (LCDC)
access key.
2. Continue to press the LCDC
key until the desired contrast
level is reached.
NOTES:
1. A stored Last Number Redial number can consist of up to 24 digits
(0 ~ 9 and *). Stored numbers do not include feature access codes
or Speed Calling numbers. Any digits that are dialed after pressing
the REDIAL key, such as account codes or voice mail codes, will not
be stored for later redialing purposes.
2. A call that is placed via Last Number Redial will be placed over the
line determined by your telephone’s line preference type. To place
the call over a different line, you must preselect the desired line. A
private line must always be preselected.
3. If a private line is used to place a call via Last Number Redial, any
trunk access code that is part of the dialing sequence will be ignored.
4. A stored Last Number Redial number will remain stored until another
number is successfully dialed from the telephone. Any newly-dialed
number will replace the last. To save a specific number for later
access, see Save and Repeat or Autodial.
5. Last Number Redial can be activated during any call state that allows
initial call dialing.
LCD CONTRAST CONTROL
The contrast level of the PERCEPTION 4000 HDT2020SD digital
telephone’s Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) can be adjusted via an
assigned feature access key. You can select from eight different contrast
levels.
The display’s contrast level will be adjusted.
NOTE:
A telephone’s LCD contrast level will be reset back to the system default
level in any of the following situations: the telephone is unplugged from
the telephone jack and then replugged; the PERCEPTION 4000 system
undergoes a restar t; or the telephone-suppor ting circuit card is
unplugged from the system and then replugged.
