Basic playback
JPEG files compatibility
Discs and pixels whose compatibility with this unit has
been confirmed by TOSHIBA are as follows.
Kodak Picture CD
JPEG disc compatibility with this unit is limited as
follows:
• Playable discs:
CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW,
SD Memory Card,
MultiMediaCard,
Memory Stick,
xD-Picture Card
• File system:
ISO9660, UDF without
interleave
• File name:
File names are limited to eight
characters or less and must
incorporate “JPG” extension.
e.g.“********.JPG”
File names cannot contain
special characters such as
“?!><+*}{`[@]:;\ /.,” etc.
• File size:
Unrestricted
• File format:
BASELINE, PROGRESSIVE
• Resolution:
Baseline JPG: 5760x3840
Progressive JPG: width
*( 128) < 3300000
To play a Kodak Picture CD
Set a Kodak Picture CD.
Automatically starts the slide show.
Upon reaching the end, it will enter the thumbnail mode.
Pressing the
TOP MENU
button will enter the thumbnail
mode.
Eject the memory card.
Confirm the memory card is not in use now.
Lightly push in the memory card and then release. The
memory card will partially eject. Pull the memory card
out slowly and straight.
To play a disc, switch it to the Normal mode by pressing
the MODE button.
Notes
• Do not eject the memory card while it is in use. If ejected
while in use, information on the memory card may be lost.
• To view JPEG files contained in a memory card, the files
must be of DCF format.
• When connected to an external output, AV-IN mode cannot
be selected.
• Be sure to stop playing the disc before changing the mode.
• Some memory cards may not be played back due to its
capacity and/or manufacturer, etc.
• You cannot use “Memory Stick PRO” or “Memory Stick Duo”
with this unit.
