(1) Place the I/O module for the low-power system I/O on the left, and that for the
high-power system I/O on the right. Wiring should also be separated.
(2) Keep 100mm or more space between units for maintenance and ventilation. Keep
100mm or more space above the top unit and beneath the bottom unit.
(3) Keep the unit at least 200mm away from the power line and power equipment, or shield
it with a grounded steel plate. If a fluorescent lamp is used for in-board lighting,
separate the lighting wiring from the I/O signal lines.
(4) For the I/O wire size, see the table below.
Use a thicker wire for the common line according to the current capacity. Use of 1.25
mm

cable is recommended for external cables including those coming out from the
panel to keep the impedance low.

(5) The terminal screw size is M3.5. Use an appropriate crimp-type terminal with a width of
7mm or less for the M3.5 screw.
(6) DO NOT tie I/O signal line with, locate it close to or wire it in parallel with the
high-voltage or power cable, irrespective of inside or outside the panel. If separation is
difficult, use a collective shielded cable for each I/O signal type and connect the shield
to a single-point ground at the panel inlet (for digital I/O).
