UPGRADE INFORMATION

The Upgrade Information tab is used to remotely upgrade Server Software. The latest version of Server Software can be downloaded and

installed in this tab, or installed from a file location on a connected USB device.

Remote Software Upgrade

Note

Log files can also be manually deleted. Simply select the log you want to delete on the bottom portion of the window, then click

Delete All

In SCS, right-click on the recorder you wish to upgrade, and then click

Device Configuration

In the System Information menu, click the

Upgrade Information

tab.

If a new

Upgrade Version

is available, it will display.

Click the

Release Notes

button to view the release notes for the upgrade.

Click the

Start Upgrade

button.

Local Software Upgrade

In the System Information menu, click the

Upgrade Information

tab.

If a new

Upgrade Version

is available, it will display.

Click the

Release Notes

button to view the release note for the upgrade.

Click the

Start Upgrade

button.

Manual Software Upgrade

Connect a

USB

containing the upgrade ZIP file to the recorder.

In the Display screen, click

Setup

Click System Information, and then click

Update camera Information

Click the

Upgrade File Browse

button.

Select the upgrade file on the connected

USB

and then click

Once the file is seen in the

Upgrade File

location box, click

Start Upgrade
