Setting Printer/e-Filing Functions

This menu allows you to make settings for the printer and e-Filing functions that will apply to the print jobs or e-Filing jobs.

Press [PRINTER/E-FILING] in the ADMIN menu.

The PRINTER/E-FILING screen is displayed.

To display the ADMIN menu, see the following page:

P.63 “Entering Admin Menu”

Specify the following items as you require and press [OK].

AUTOMATIC CHANGE OF PAPER SOURCE

— Selecting [ON] for this function and [Auto] for the paper source on

the print dialog box allows the equipment to feed the same size of paper from a different drawer if the drawer from
which paper is being fed is empty. For more information about the print dialog box, refer to the

Printing Guide

.

PAPER OF DIFFERENT DIRECTION

— Selecting [ON] for this function and the AUTOMATIC CHANGE OF

PAPER SOURCE option allows the equipment to feed the same size of paper that is set in a different direction if
the drawer from which paper is being fed is empty.

SUSPEND PRINTING IF STAPLER EMPTY

— Select [ON] to enable suspending printing if stapler empty occurs.

When this is enabled, this equipment quit printing that stapling is specified if stapler empty occurs. When this is
disabled, this equipment will print a document without stapling even if stapler empty occurs.
