Main charger

Cleaner unit

11. 5.  Disassembly and Replacement

[A]  Cleaner unit

(1) Open the front cover and take off the front

side right inner cover, toner cartridge drive

unit, toner recycle unit, developer unit and

main charger.

(2) Remove 2 screws and pull out the cleaner

unit.

Drum thermistor

Connector

[B]  Drum thermistor/Drum

(1) Disconnect 1 connector and remove 1 screw.

Then take off the drum thermistor with the

bracket.

(2) Turn the cam to release the pressure of the

cleaning blade.

(3) Remove 1 screw and take off the drum shaft.

(4) Pull out the drum upward.
