FILTER SET REPLACEMENT
Filter Replacement Time
Replace the filter regularly as its air purifying effect drops if it is used for a long period of time.
Standard replacement time is approximately once every 5 year [based on JEM standard (Standards of
the Japan Electrical Manufacturer’s Association)]. Replacement time, however, varies depending on how
and where the filter is used.
•
Make sure to replace the filter with a new one if the “FILTER REPLACE” indicator
lights up.
•
Even if the “FILTER REPLACE” indicator does not light up, replace the filter with
a new one of you feel any odor from the filter or when there is a difficulty in
eliminating dirt, odor and/or smell.
How to Replace
•
Disconnect the cable from the plug outlet.
•
Bring out the filter unit after detaching the panel.
•
Attached to the new filter unit.
•
After replacing the filter unit, plug the cable, press the
FILTER RESET button, and make sure the FILTER
REPLACE indicator turns off.
•
Attach the panel.
ATTENTION
•
When the REPLACE FILTER indicator turns off,
a microcomputer starts counting for the timing to
replace the filter.
•
Do not press the reset button except when the filter
unit has been replaced. It makes difficult to count
accurately.
Filter Unit
Purchase the filter unit at the shop from which you bought this product with designating the model.
NOTICE
•
The filter set connot be reused even if it is
washed.
•
Classify the type of waste on filter set, in order
to discard.
