Learning about the remote control
Only the buttons used to operate the TV are described here.
POWER
turns the TV on and off
SLEEP
programs the TV to turn off at a specific time (page 44)
LIGHT
Pressing the LIGHT button toggles the illumination mode on
and off. With the illumiantion mode on, the keypad will light up for
5 seconds when any key is pressed. (If in programming mode, the
keypad will remain lit for 10 seconds).
Channel Numbers (0–9, 100)
allow direct access to channels, even those
not programmed into the TV’s memory (page 26)
MODE
cycles through the six device modes (TV, CABLE/SAT, VCR,
DVD, AUDIO1, and AUDIO2). The mode indicator light will
remain lit for 10 seconds.
FAVORITE
accesses the multi-window favorite channel scan function
(page 33)
INFO
accesses the multi-window channel preview function (page 33)
MENU/ENTER
accesses the on-screen menu system and sets menu
information (page 23)
