C-4  To forward rotation stop

• Drive motor

: Rotates in forward

direction.

• Feed clutch

: Turns  OFF.

• Transport clutch

: Turns ON.

• Transport belt

: Rotates in forward

direction.

• Reversing roller

: Rotates.

• The motor stops when the original has

been transported by about 25 mm after

the exit sensor turns ON.

C-5  Original reversal

• Drive motor

: Rotates in

reverse direction.

• Feed clutch

: Turns  OFF.

• Transport clutch

: Turns ON.

• Transport belt

: Rotates in reverse

direction.

• Reversing roller

: Rotates.

• Reverse rotation of the motor raises the

flapper, and the original is reversed.

• The original is fed for fixed number of

pulses and the motor stops.

C-6  Completion of original feed

• After a fixed amount of time has elapsed

since the motor stopped, the transport

clutch is turned OFF to complete original

feed.
