D. Programme position skip selection
Press the or button to turn the programme
position skip option On “ ” or Off “ ”.
The programme position will then be skipped when
you select channels with the P
8 or P 9 button.
Note: “ ” mark will appear beside a skipped pro-
gramme position number when you use the number
buttons on the remote control.

Press the button to search up the band or the
button to search down the band.
Press the
or button repeatedly until your de-
sired channel is displayed.
When a station/satellite is found, it will be displayed.
G. Manual fine tuning (Not normally required)
Press the “+” or “–” button until the best pos-
sible picture and sound are obtained.
H. Station label
Station labels appear under the programme posi-
tion display each time you turn on the TV, select a
channel, or press the
CALL button.
To change or create station labels:
1) Press the
or button repeatedly to select a
character for the first space, then press
the
button.
2) Repeat step 1 to enter the rest of the charac-
ters.
If you would like a blank space in the label name,
you must choose an empty space from the list
of characters.
Press the OK button to store your settings.
Tuning to your VCR
(connected via an aerial cable)
If you cannot connect your TV to the VCR using Scart leads,
you will need to allocate a programme position on the TV
for the VCR.
To tune your TV to your VCR play a prerecorded tape:

Follow steps 1 to 5 in Manual tuning onthe previous
page to select Search.

Press the or button to start the search opera-
tion.
When the VCR is found, your pre-recorded tape will
be displayed.

Select the programme position.
It is suggested to use the position No. “0”.

Press the OK button.

This TV set is capable of receiving a number of different channels depending upon where you live. Programme sorting is an
easy way of storing each channel on the programme position of your choice.
Programme Sorting
Example: To swap channel 22 (Prog.1) for channel 32
(Prog.4):

Press the MENU button, then press the or but-
ton repeatedly to display the SET UP menu.

Press the or button to highlight Programme sort-
ing.

Press the OK button to display the Programme sort-
ing menu.

Press the or button to highlight the channel 22
to be moved.

Press the button to enter your choice.

Press button repeatedly to highlight the new posi-
tion “4”, then press the button.

Repeat steps 4 to 6 to move the channel 32 to the
programme position “1”.

Confirm new sorting list.
