Picture controls
When this TV receives a true Widescreen picture and
Automatic
format
is
ON
, it will automatically be displayed in Widescreen
format, irrespective of the TV’s previous setting.
Press the
MENU
button, and use either the
S
or
R
button to select the
Feature menu
. Use
Q
to
move down to
Automatic format
.
Using the
S
or
R
buttons turn
Automatic format
ON
or
OFF
.

Adjustment to the position of the picture may be made to suit
your viewing preferences.
Press the
MENU
button, and use the

button to select
Feature menu
.
Now repeatedly press the
Q
button until
Picture
position
is highlighted.

With the

Q
buttons, highlight an
option and with the
S

R
button select.
Now use the

R
buttons to adjust the settings as
required and press
EXIT
when you have finished.

from the
Picture
menu. Select between
ON
and
OFF
to obtain the best picture. The
differences may not always be noticeable.

enables you to ‘soften’ the screen representation of a
weak signal.

This television offers you the choice of personalising the
picture style to suit your own preferences. By pressing
the

button you can view the different picture
styles available:

is for your own settings:
The
Tint
can only be adjusted on a
signal from an NTSC video recorder or
DVD player when the television is in
AUTO colour mode.
The options
available to you
when in the
Picture position
screen will vary
depending upon
the widescreen
format you have
previously
chosen, as
detailed on
page 12.
