1. Conditions: maximum contrast, brightness
and color centered.
2. Adjustment procedure
a. Use the Sub address VPOS to adjust V.
Position so that the top and bottom of
the Philips pattern is in the center.
b. Adjust the Sub address HIT so that the
top and bottom flags of the Philips pat-
tern are barely concealed.
c. Use the Sub address VLIN to adjust
V.LINEARITY (vertical balance). (c is
performed only when the adjustment is
necessary for the quality)
d. After Adjusting c, repeat the above
adustments a and b.
1. Conditions: maximum contrast, brightness
and color centered.
2. Adjustment procedure
Use the Sub address HPOS to adjust the
Philips pattern d-c to the minimum.
1. Conditions: Adjust vertical height, vertical
position and horizontal position, then set
contrast to maximum and center brightness
and color.
2. Adjustment procedure
a. Use the Sub address WID to align the
horizontal amplitude, so that the white
flag that controls the Philips pattern is
just concealed uniformly.
b. If the above is not possible, again use
Sub address HOPS to adjust the d-c to
minimum and then repeat adjustment a
above.
c. Use the Sub address PARA to align the
left and right vertical bars in a straight
line.
d. Use the Sub address CNR to align the
left and right bars in a straight line.
e If the quality of vertical balance is poor,
use TCNR/BCNR to make the adjust-
ment. (d is performed only when the
adjustment is necessary for the quality)
f. Use the Sub address TRAP to adjust the
trapezoidal distortion.
g. Again use the Sub address WID to make
adjustment.
