Watching picture-in-picture (PIP)
The picture-in-picture (PIP) feature allows you to watch two pictures at
the same time. The smaller picture can be a TV broadcast or come
from an external source, such as a VCR.
To select a PIP source:
1. Press MENU, then press or to display SET UP menu.
2. Press

or
▼
to highlight PIP SOURCE.
3. Press or to highlight your desired source.
To display a PIP source as a small picture:
1. Make sure you have selected a desired source in the SET UP menu
and its connection has been made properly.
2. Press the PIP button once to display a small picture. A window 1/9
the size of the screen will appear. Press PIP a second time to
display a 1/16 size window.
3. Press C or –, CH RTN, FAV

and Channel num-
bered button on the remote control or C or – on the TV to
choose the program you want to be displayed as a main picture.
To turn PIP off:
Press PIP once or twice, depending on the size of the small
picture screen you selected.
Switching the main and small pictures
Press SWAP while you are using the PIP feature to switch the main
and small pictures. The main and small pictures will switch each time
you press the SWAP button.

Note:
When you watch the TV program and select
TV in the SET UP menu, the main and small
picture are same channel.
PIP cannot be turned on when the
ColorStream input is being viewed.
You cannot display the signal sources input
through the VIDEO 3 terminal as a small
picture.
