Using the Hour Meter

The hour meter (Figure 5) records the number of hours
the engine has operated. It operates when the engine
is running. Use these times for scheduling regular
maintenance.

Throttle Control

The throttle control has two positions:

Fast

and

Slow

.

Choke

Use the choke to start a cold engine.

Blade Control Switch (PTO)

The blade control switch (PTO) is used to engage the
electric clutch to drive the mower blades with the motion
control levers in the center, un-locked position. Pull the
switch up to engage the blades and release. To disengage
the blades, push the blade control switch (PTO) down.

Ignition Switch

This switch is used to start the mower engine and has
three positions:

Start, Run

and

Off

.

A selection of Toro approved attachments and
accessories are available for use with the machine to
enhance and expand its capabilities. Contact your
Authorized Service Dealer or Distributor or go to
www.Toro.com for a list of all approved attachments
and accessories.

Using the Fuel Shutoff Valve

The machine has 2 fuel tanks, one on the left side and
the other on the right side. Each tank connects to a
check valve and then to a tee. From there a common
fuel line leads to the engine (Figure 6).
