Driving the Machine
The drive wheels turn independently, powered by hydraulic
motors on each axle. You can turn 1 side in reverse while you
turn the other forward, causing the machine to spin rather
than turn. This greatly improves the machine maneuverability
but may require sometime for you to adapt to how it moves.
The throttle control regulates the engine speed as measured
in rpm (revolutions per minute). Place the throttle control in
the F
AST
position for best performance. Always operate in
the full throttle position when mowing.
CAUTION
The machine can spin very rapidly, which may
cause you to lose control of machine, resulting in
personal injury or damage to machine.
•
Use caution when making turns.
•
Slow the machine down before making sharp
turns.
Driving Forward
Note:
The engine stops when you move the traction-control
with the parking brake engaged.
To stop, pull the motion-control levers to the N
EUTRAL
position.
1.
Disengage the parking brake; refer to
Parking Brake (page 18)
.
2.
Move the levers to the center, unlocked position.
3.
To go forward, slowly push the motion-control levers
forward (
