Important:
Remove and discard the protective plastic sheet that covers the engine and any other
plastic or wrapping on the machine.

Unfolding the Handle
No Parts Required
Procedure
WARNING
Folding or unfolding the handle improperly
can damage the cables, causing an unsafe
operating condition.
• Do not damage the cables when folding or
unfolding the handle.
• If a cable is damaged, contact an
Authorized Service Dealer.
1. Loosen the handle knobs ( Figure 3 ).

2. Carefully move the upper handle forward until
the handle halves are in line and nest together
as shown in
Figure 4 .

3. Tighten the handle knobs firmly by hand.
4. Rotate the handle rearward to the operating
position, and lock the handle at your desired
height. Refer to
1 Unfolding the Handle (page 4) .
