The lift cylinder internal leakage test should be performed if a cutting unit
raise and lower problem is identified. This test will determine if a lift cylinder
is damaged.

Note:

Cutting unit raise/lower circuit operation will be affected by lift cylinder

binding, extra weight on the cutting units, and/or binding of lift components.
Ensure that the these items are checked before proceeding with lift cylinder
internal leakage test.

Test Procedure

1. Park machine on a level surface with the cutting units disengaged and in the

turn-around position. Shut off the engine and apply the parking brake.

2. Read all Warning, Cautions, and precautions listed at the beginning of this

section.
