Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
1. The seat-sensor switch is not
functioning.
1. Check the mechanical and electrical
operation of the switch.
2. The hydraulic-fluid level is low. 2. Fill the hydraulic-fluid reservoir to the
correct level.
3. The drive shaft is sheared. 3. Check the motor and drive shafts and
replace them if necessary.
4. The pressure-relief valve is jammed
open or wrongly set.
4. Have the relief valve cleaned and
pressure checked. Consult your
authorized dealer.
5. The cutting-unit blade(s) is jammed. 5. Clear the jam as needed.
6. The cutting-unit control valve is
in the Off position caused by a
non-functioning control valve.
6. Overhaul the control valve.
