7. Install the 2 screws securing the controller cover to the battery container skirt.

Torque the screws to 1.1-1.7 N • m (10-15 in-lb).

8. Install the chute control rod into the machine.

WARNING

When removing or installing the battery, do not allow the battery
terminals to touch any metal parts of the machine. Do not allow
metal tools to short between the battery terminals and metal parts
of the machine.

9. Install the battery into the machine.
