Procedures
Using the
Battery-Disconnect Switch
Open the hood to access the battery-disconnect
switch.
Turn the battery-disconnect switch to the O
N
or O
FF
position to perform the following:
•
To energize the machine electrically, rotate the
battery-disconnect switch clockwise to the O
N
position ( Figure 74 ).
•
To de-energize the machine electrically, rotate the
battery-disconnect switch counterclockwise to the
O
FF
position ( Figure 74 ).
Important:
Do not turn the battery-disconnect
switch to the O
FF
position while the engine is
running. Ensure that the machine is shut off
before turning the battery-disconnect switch
to the O
FF
position, as you may cause damage
to the engine and/or machine.

Raising the Machine
Use the following as points to jack up the machine:
Front of the machine —on the frame, on the inside of
each drive tire ( Figure 75 )
