Preparing the Machine
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Park the machine on a level surface and lower
the cutting units.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Shut off the engine and remove the key.

Disconnecting the Battery
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Open the battery cover on the side of the shroud
(
Figure 2 ).
Note:
Press down on the flat surface above the
battery cover to ease the removal of the cover.

2. Disconnect the negative (black) battery cable.

3. Slip the rubber boot off the positive terminal, and
disconnect the cable.

and allow it to dry (
