Engine Coolant Temperature Warning
Light
The light (Figure 4) illuminates and the cutting units shut
down (PTO disengages) if the engine reaches an unsafe
operating temperature. If the temperature continues to
rise the engine will shut down.
Engine Cooling Fan Switch
The machine is equipped with a hydraulically driven auto
reversing engine cooling fan. The fan switch (Figure 5)
has two positions R (manual reverse) and Auto (normal).
Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Operation in the Operation
Section of manual.

Hour Meter
The hour meter (Figure 5) shows the total hours that the
machine has been operated.
Power Point
The power point (Figure 5) is used to power optional
electrical accessories.
Audible Alarm
To warn bystanders, an alarm will sound if the cutting
decks are lowered with the engine off. The alarm will
quit sounding once the deck lower switch is released.
Also, the alarm will sound if the engine coolant
temperature reaches a set-point that cuts out the PTO
operation. The alarm will continue to sound until the
coolant temperature drops below the set-point or the
PTO switch is disengaged.
Cab Controls
Model 30447 only
Wind Shield Wiper Switch
Press front of switch to activate the wind shield wipers
(Figure 6) and rear of switch to turn off the wipers.
Air Conditioning Switch
Press front of switch to activate the air conditioning
(Figure 6) and rear of switch to turn off the air
conditioning.
Fan Control
Rotate the fan control knob to regulate the speed of the
fan (Figure 6).
Temperature Control
Rotate the temperature control knob to regulate the air
temperature in the cab (Figure 6).
